Top Aussie is consigned to reserves by ruthless boss

AXED Warrington star Matt Dufty will do whatever is needed to get back in Sam Burgess’ good books.

The marquee Aussie fullback was dropped for their recent clash with champions Wigan after missing a training session.

And coach Burgess left him out for a second week running in Thursday night’s 30-22 win over Catalans.

Dufty was expected to return in that game but Burgess, right, explained afterwards that he’ll instead play for Warrington’s reserves at Wigan this lunchtime.

Speaking publicly about his disciplinary matter for the first time, the 29-year-old Dufty said: “Listen, it’s not best for the team what's gone on.
