Different class of holiday

SOME years ago, ITV and BBC1 each had a regular primetime travel show.

The sort, I mean, where the presenters would jet off to a series of desirable but, for the most part, reasonably affordable holiday locations and report on their pros and cons - the beaches, the weather, that funny foreign food the locals ate, etc. - so we could decide if we fancied a holiday there ourselves.

The BBC's was called, imaginatively, Holiday. Its presenters included Cliff Michelmore, Frank Bough and Des Lynam.

ITV's was called Wish You Were main reason things have changed is we no longer need to be spoon-fed this sort of information.
