Dermot opens up on cancer treatment

JOURNALIST Dermot Murnaghan has said he is feeling "pretty good" after chemotherapy for his stage four prostate cancer ended in July.

The former Sky News presenter, 67, said he “fell through the gaps” when it came to early testing, and encouraged men “of a certain age” to “demand” the NHS checks them.

Currently, there is no screening programme for the disease in the UK due to no reliable tests to pick up the cancer.
