OUSMANE DEMBELE put Paris Saint-Germain back on level terms, as this Champions League cracker with Liverpool went to extra-time last night.

It was another epic European encounter under the lights at Anfield.

Yet the Reds will wonder how they did not win this tie in normal time. They were the better side but failed to convert their chances after surviving some first-half scares.

Dembele’s 12th-minute strike after a defensive mix-up between Ibrahima Konate and Alisson set this up to be a blockbuster battle.

And the neutrals watching certainly would not have turned down another 30 minutes of this.
