Deals or no deal... Palace must show they mean business for Glasner to extend stay

OLIVER GLASNER has hinted Crystal Palace's transfer business will shape whether he signs a contract extension.

Palace's manager insists there are “no negotiations” over fresh terms with his deal set to expire at the end of the season.

Glasner admitted the Eagles, who will learn the outcome of their Europa League appeal with CAS on Monday, have been “quite passive” in the market having signed only backup goalkeeper Walter Benitez and left-back Borna Sosa.

Asked if Palace's transfer dealings ~ or lack of - could impact his future, he said: “We will see.”

Ahead of tomorrow's Community Shield clash with Liverpool, Glasner also refused to provide any assurances Arsenal target Eberechi Eze will be staying at the club.
