Daughter makes mum, 82, homeless after 10-year feud

AN 82-year-old who gave her home to her daughter for "inheritance tax reasons" faces being homeless after being ordered out by a judge amid a family feud.

Norma Gibbons and daughter Dawn fought each other in court for a decade over the £1.4million house where they both have flats.

Dawn, 52, said the relationship broke down after she heard her mother shouting at her young daughter, which she said was the last straw in a lengthy row.

In 2004, when they still got on, Norma put her upstairs home in Dawn's name without telling her. But they fell out and Norma claimed she was "tricked" into it.
