Customer's bed repairs bid falls flat

Christine McKenzie came to Crusader last month after getting nowhere about the £700 purchase from furniture company Made.com in 2022. Shortly after, the struggling online retailer was placed in administration, effectively legal limbo, until a buyer was found or it folded.

Then Next stepped in, buying the brand and website but not assuming liabilities, like existing orders. The business now trades under the Made.com brand as part of the retail giant’s group.
