Caring Sara's marathon feat
Daily Express
|November 15, 2025
PRINCE William paid a "massive congratulations" to BBC Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox on the final day of her 135-mile Great Northern Marathon Challenge.
She ran the 26-mile 385-yard distance five times in as many days this week for Children in Need, raising more than £7million. Fellow DJ Scott Mills played the royal video message live on yesterday's breakfast show to motivate the exhausted radio host to the finish line in the town of Pudsey, Leeds.
