Business fears Labour can't fix skills crisis

STRUGGLING British businesses have no confidence the Government will solve a chronic skills shortage.
A nationwide snapshot poll is the clearest sign yet believe is ebbing away from once buoyant firms.
Some 64% of the 107 companies surveyed said they were suffering an acute skills shortage and only 45% believe Labour can fix the crisis.
The results also show more than half are struggling to recruit new blood and retain existing staff.
