Bon Jovi talks down woman on the edge

US Editor ROCK legend Jon Bon Jovi has been praised for talking a woman in distress off the edge of a bridge.

The Livin' On A Prayer singer, 62, was filming a music video in Nashville when he spotted the woman, who had climbed over the railings and was perched precariously above a river.

Unlike other passers-by who walked on, Bon Jovi slowly approached her and started to talk.

Calm

Then, with the help of a female assistant from his film crew, he pulled the woman to safety.

Yesterday local police chief John Drake said: "It takes all of us to help keep each other safe."
