ELECTRIC power, the internet and penicillin have been named the greatest inventions of all-time.
More recent innovations, such as the smartphone, GPS and the 3D printer, all made the top 40 — but there was no place for sliced bread.
Some 56% of people said they would struggle without tech for more than a day.
