ASHES royalty Ashley Giles is the King of Spain who scored the winning runs in the greatest Test series of all time.

Souvenir mugs in the Warwickshire club shop were supposed to acclaim his left-arm twirl as the king of spin, but a glorious misprint turned him into memorabilia gold.

Twenty years ago this week, Giles turned Shane Warne’s fizzing leg-break into unpatrolled territory at Trent Bridge to seal a three-wicket win against Australia and put England 2-1 up in the Ashes.
