Andrew a royal in all but name as York title's lost

COMMON sense has prevailed with Prince Andrew being forced to give up his royal titles. The former friend of sex predator Jeffrey Epstein had become the unacceptable face of the monarchy.

While other members of the Royal Family worked tirelessly to celebrate and encourage unsung heroes, this preening prince cavorted with the most sinister playboy of our times.

The fresh revelation that he had not broken off contact with Epstein in 2010, as he had claimed in his disastrous 2019 Newsnight interview with Emily Maitli made his exalted position in British life untenable. There was also mounting concern about his dealings with China and related espionage risks.
