Ruben demands to be allowed to 'manage' and says he'll leave when contract is up

RUBEN AMORIM put his Manchester United future in doubt after insisting he would leave the club when his contract runs out.

Amorim also hinted at an internal power struggle at United, making it clear he wants to be left alone to get on with being manager of his team - instead of head coach.

The Portuguese revealed he could leave when his deal runs out in 18 months time - if he is not sacked before then.

Speaking after his side's 1-1 draw at Leeds, Amorim said: "I came here to be the manager of Manchester United - not the head coach.
