A MUM who beat her son to death while in thrall to a cult has been jailed for at least 25 years.

Christina Dwelaniyah, Robinson killed three, after a campaign of cruelty.

The 30-year-old member of the Black Hebrew Israelite religion claimed she was following scripture for the "correction" of children by lashing him with a rod.

She immersed him in scalding water and failed to seek medical help because she feared safeguarding concerns. A postmortem found 70 separate injuries.
