Attack left pup fighting for its life

A CAVAPOO puppy was left fighting for its life after being attacked by another dog during a walk at a beauty spot.

Steven Yorke, 37, was walking Rocky, who is eight months old, at Tyn y Coed Woods when an off-lead dog ran up to them and attacked. Rocky sustained “extreme” internal injuries and vets weren't sure he would survive.

Steven said: “At first the owner wasn't even in sight so I was a little bit concerned, especially because it looked quite lean and quite powerful. The owner appeared and shouted over, ‘Oh, don’t worry he won't hurt,’ but then moments later he just started going for Rocky.
