A QUAINT artisan bakery, nestled in the countryside and housed in a former village hall, has just unveiled a new addition - the Breadhouse cafe which now welcomes the public to bask in its idyllic surroundings.

Popular village bakery is on the rise

Bradwall Bakehouse has been soaring in popularity since it started baking its signature sourdough breads and buns three years ago. It has served up produce to 25 businesses throughout the North West.

The family behind the beloved bakery have broadened their horizons, taking over the remaining space within their Sandbach-adjacent building in Cheshire, offering plentiful indoor and outdoor seating for patrons at the new Breadhouse cafe.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday during daytime hours, visitors can now stop by to purchase fresh baked delights to go or relax on-site soaking up the tranquil environment.

Fiona Barlow is the founder of Bradwall Bakehouse and shared that opening the cafe felt like a natural progression for the enterprise.

Her words encapsulate the ambition behind the expansion: “We've always prided ourselves on crafting authentic, handmade bread that tells a story, and The Breadhouse will allow us to offer our produce and refreshments to the community in a friendly and welcoming setting.”

She added: “This is an exciting next step in our business, and it’s essential to us that, as we grow, we continue to stay true to our roots and the values that our customers love.”

Beyond their famed sourdough and rustic farmhouse loaves, the skilled bakers have ventured into sweet territories, curating treats like indulgent cinnamon buns and a fruity lemon and blueberry variation of their famous focaccia.
