WORK UNDERWAY TO EXPAND A&E AT CITY'S HOSPITAL

WORK is underway on expanding the A&E waiting room at University Hospital Coventry.

Its capacity will increase from 47 seats to 74.
Bosses say a new room for blood tests will also be created as part of the refurbishment project.
Patients will also be able to speak to clinicians privately when the build is completed.
Contractors will be on site for a month with ‘little impact’ on patients in the first two weeks of the project.
