Police tackle rising robbery and youth violence
Coventry Telegraph
|November 10, 2025
POLICE in Coventry have listed ‘robbery offences within the city centre’ and ‘serious youth violence’ as a key priority after a concerning rise over the summer months.
-
The St Michael's Neighbourhood Police team, which covers the city centre and some areas just outside of the ring road including parts of Hillfields, is taking measures as young people are ‘at serious risk’.
Officers will be looking to engage with people in the areas crimes have been happening, as well as utilising certain police powers in an attempt to preempt such incidents.
