ONES TO WATCH

IT’S no secret that smartphones are the source of just as many problems as solutions for most people - none more so than school-aged children.

From online bullying to social media addiction, it can be hard to navigate through the issues.

Some suggest a total ban on phones in schools is the way forward, an idea that has already been implemented in some quarters with a degree of success.

Another answer might be found in wearable tech - smart watches in particular offer many of the advantages of phones with fewer drawbacks.

So this week we're rounding up some of the best options on offer — here are five smart watches with features aimed at children.

They say: Don’t worry about getting a smartphone too soon. With the Bounce 2 kids smartwatch, you can stay in touch with your child — thanks to two-way calling and text messaging — and even help them stay active.
