Families left with nothing as huge blaze razes homes

A WOMAN has said she "can't stop crying" after watching helplessly as her home in North Cornwall burned to the ground.
Fire crews were called to reports of a "major incident" on the outskirts of Launceston shortly before 1.50am on Sunday. Upon arrival, firefighters faced a scene of destruction as the fire ripped through four neighbouring homes.
One owner, who didn't want to be named, said the loss of her home has only just "sunk in'", and now she "can't stop" crying.
The owner, who had lived at the house for eight years, said: "There are four properties, four families who have lost everything.
"I was at work and I got a phone call at 2.30am in the morning from a neighbour saying our houses were on fire. But it was too late, everything was gone. The house to the side of mine lost the entire the roof.
