THERE is nothing like getting the job done yourself.

- NANCY CONNOLLY

Politicians waste no time in taking care of overflowing bin themselves

Following lots of complaints about a filthy and overloaded bin left unemptied outside the Bishop’s Palace in Wells, local councillor Claire Sully and Lib Dem MP Tessa Munt rolled up their sleeves and emptied the bin themselves.

Tessa Munt said on her Facebook page: “Overspilling bin at the end of the Moat Walk outside the Bishop’s Palace in Wells was reported to me by locals last week. Cllr Claire Sully and I emptied it this morning - now there’s space for all our lovely residents and very welcome visitors, to pop their rubbish in the bin.”
