Norris hoping to put his nightmare behind him

GLASTONBURY racer Lando Norris will be hoping that a return to the scene of his maiden podium can rekindle his Formula One World Championship bid.

The McLaren driver has had time to reflect after crashing into the back of teammate and Championship leader Oscar Piastri last time out in Canada.
The pair went wheel-to-wheel over a couple of breathtaking corners towards the end of the race as both McLarens were beginning to chase down Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli in a bid to prevent the young star from his own maiden podium.
However, as is so often the case between teammates when allowed to race, it all ended in tears as Norris went for a surprise gap that simply wasn’t there and ended up clipping the back of Piastri, losing his front wing, before crashing into the barrier.
