House roof blaze sees road closed

RESIDENTS were urged to keep their windows closed after a fire broke out on Sunday afternoon.

The blaze erupted in Stoney Stratton, near Shepton Mallet. A road closure was in place through the village as firefighters connected their hose reels to the water supply.
