Intensified maintenance for D5000
Capricorn Review
|June 04, 2025
THE MEC for Roads and Infrastructure, Ernest Rachoene, recently led the latest Dikgerekgere Wednesday programme to the D5000, a critical route connecting Siloam and Tshiendeulu within the Makhado Municipality.
This stretch of road will now benefit from intensified gravel road maintenance as part of the department’s continued service delivery efforts. The Dikgerekgere Wednesday initiative is a programme that brings government resources and services directly to communities by restoring gravel roads to safe and functional conditions that improve accessibility and reliability.
