Telangana CM presents Vision 2047 at NITI Aayog meet, calls for Centre’s support for state’s development

Highlighting the role of youth in the state's progress, the Chief Minister said that a youth policy tailored to their aspirations was being implemented. He said 60,000 government jobs had been filled and another one lakh created in the private sector.

To address the skill gap in the workforce, the government was establishing institutions like the Young India Skill University, Sports University, and Police School, while also upgrading ITIs and model schools into advanced skill training centres. He announced that from June 2, a self-employment scheme under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam initiative would provide Rs 5 lakh support to aspiring youth.
