Strengthening De-Addiction & Rehabilitation Centres in Telangana for Social Reintegration of Drug-Dependent Individuals

The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB), in collaboration with the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens & Transgender Persons (DEPwD SC&TGP), Government of Telangana, is taking proactive steps to bridge critical gaps in the drug de-addiction and_ rehabilitation infrastructure across the state.

While substantial efforts have been made to combat the menace of substance abuse, several districts in Telangana still lack dedicated de-addiction centres. To address this gap, TGANB and DEPwD SC&TGP are reaching out to NGOs, humanitarian organisations, and philanthropic institutions to actively partner in establishing De-Addiction Centres in underserved districts.
