Sensex plunges 930.67 pts

The BSE-Sensex on Friday dropped 930.67 pts to settle at 75,364.69 on weak global cues amidst fear of global recession following the announcement of tariffs.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 345.65 pts to 22,904.05.

The day opened on a negative note at 76,160.09, falling 135 pts. It remained negative throughout the session. During the day, it tanked 1059 pts to 75,243.55, a day's low before closing at 75,364.69, down 930.67 pts from its previous close.
