Breaking winning streak of last seven sessions, the BSE Sensex on Thursday slipped 315.06 pts to settle at 79,801.43 on weak global cues.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) declined 82.25 pts at 24,246.70.
The Sensex opened negative at 80,058.48, easing 58 pts. During the day it was dropped 392 pts at 79,724.55, days low, before closing at 79,801.43, sliding 315.06 pts from its previous close.
