Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi visited Greenko’s largest GW-scale Integrated Renewable Energy Project here on Friday.

The project is being developed with a total investment of USD 4.2 billion — comprising USD 1.2 billion for the pumped storage component and USD 3 billion for the solar and wind generation infrastructure.

This pioneering, world-first Renewable Energy Project includes 4,000 MW of solar, 1,000 MW of wind, and 1,680 MW of pumped hydropower generation.

With a storage capacity of 10,080 MWh per day in a single cycle, the dispatchable, carbon-free energy generated from the project will support industries such as green steel, green aluminum, and green hydrogen production.
