Collectors are key in the implementation of development, welfare schemes : Ministers

State Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, Adluri Laxman Kumar have instructed the district collectors to play a key role in the implementation of the development and welfare schemes undertaken by the state government and to take appropriate steps so that the fruits of the respective welfare reach the poor people.

On Tuesday, the ministers reviewed the progress of the implementation of various schemes with the collectors of all districts through video conference from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat. Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy participated in the VC from the Integrated District Office Complex. The ministers reviewed and made suggestions to the collectors on the construction of Indiramma houses, Bhu Bharathi, residential educational institutions, provision of food and basic facilities in hostels, planting saplings during Vanamahotsavam, Mahalakshmi scheme and other issues. They said that the collectors and officials should work tirelessly as per the government's goals.
