|Oct 27 Issue
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) appealed to the people of the Jubilee Hills constituency to cast their vote in the November 11 by-election after weighing the decade-long progress under BRS rule against what he described as the “two years of deceitful governance” by the Congress government.
-
Speaking at a meeting in Sheikhpet Division of Jubilee Hills on Sunday, KTR launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of betraying every section of the society and following what he termed as a “bulldozer rule".
KTR alleged that the present Congress government in Telangana was the first without minority representation. “Though there were six MLC opportunities, the Congress did not give a single chance to minorities,” he said, demanding that Rahul Gandhi respond to this issue.
