South Africans unite for national dialogue

SOUTH Africa is embarking on a nation-wide initiative aimed at fostering unity and collaboration among its citizens to tackle longstanding issues that have persisted even after three decades of democracy.

The sentiment that “South Africa belongs to all who live in it” underpins the foundation of this initiative, as articulated by Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, renowned humanitarian and founder of Gift of Givers. Dr Sooliman is one of the key figures appointed to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s newly established Eminent Persons Group, tasked with leading the much-anticipated National Dialogue.
