Sandenbergh 'super proud' of how Barebones MMA is growing

After launching mid-last year, the mixed martial arts promotion, which focuses on building the foundation of the Western Cape MMA scene, has gone from strength to strength as it will roll out its fourth Amateur MMA show on May 17 at the Sunningdale Sports Complex.

For the first three shows, Elite MMA in Melkbosstrand did an excellent job hosting the event that showcases South Africa's up-and-coming stars. Now, as the brand starts to spread its wings, the organisers have decided to find a new venue capable of catering to the ever-growing crowds.

"I have decided to move the venue from Elite MMA because the venue was just too small," says Barebones MMA Championship owner Lyndall Sandenbergh.
