Questions over the DA’s priorities
Cape Argus
|September 02, 2025
IT IS deeply upsetting that the DA has shown little, if any, concern over the ongoing genocide in Gaza, where thousands of innocent lives have been lost, yet finds it necessary to intervene in the travel arrangements of 2 500 South African Hajj pilgrims.
This selective outrage raises serious questions about the DA's priorities and moral reliability. While the suffering of millions in Palestine continues, the DA has chosen to focus its energy on a matter effectively managed by community-driven structures with decades of experience.
