AS TRIBUTES continue to pour in for Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, his tragic death has become a sombre reminder of the widespread crime affecting South Africa.
The 40-year-old media personality and DJ was shot dead in Johannesburg's CBD on Tuesday, opposite the Carlton Centre.
DJ Warras was known for his outspoken stance against crime and his patriotism. In the weeks leading up to his death, he publicly reached out to ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba, urging action to reclaim Johannesburg's inner city.
