Opposing boss happy with 'really comfortable' victory

SHREWSBURY Town boss Michael Appleton felt his side were “really comfortable” in their 2-0 victory over Cambridge United.

The Shrews recorded their second win of the League Two campaign against the U's at New Meadow, with first-half goals from George Lloyd and Will Boyle sealing the points for the hosts.

United registered just one shot on target in the contest, with Zak Bradshaw's first-half strike from outside the box the only time Shrews’ keeper Will Brook was tested.
