FREE AGENTS RAMS COULD LOOK TO BRING IN THIS SUMMER

DERBY County head coach John Eustace will relish the chance to make a true imprint on his Rams squad when he oversees his first window since being appointed in February.

The Rams are braced for a busy summer having released eight players, while several loans have returned to their parent clubs.

Derby have already triggered an option in Kane Wilson's contract to tie him down to the club for another year, but are in talks over a new and improved deal for the full back. That was followed by Matt Clarke signing a new three-year contract.

Clubs across the Championship have released their retained lists, meaning there are plenty of free transfers available. Only some are worth pursuing, however, and here we look at the deals the Rams should perhaps be considering...

Andi Weimann (forward)

Derby are keen on reuniting with the former Aston Villa forward and in many ways, it is a move that makes a great deal of sense.
