Town travel firm's soaraway success

BURTON AGENCY IS NAMED BEST IN CENTRAL ENGLAND

A TRAVEL agent in Burton has been named the best in central England at a prestig-ious awards ceremony.

Market Place Travel was named Central England’s Top Agency as part of the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies 2025 - an annual power-list of the nation’s best agents by industry bible, Travel Trade Gazette.

The ceremony took place at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Thursday, April 24, with more than 500 of the UK and Ireland’s top travel agents and supplier-partners in attendance.

Agencies are thoroughly grilled by the judges around their customer service standards, their product expertise and training, their business innovation, and how they care for their team, the planet, and their local community.

Co-directors Mark Lomas and Karen Brown expressed their heartfelt gratitude and excitement at the victory.
