Scheme 'protects people's wellbeing and their dignity'

FREE sanitary products are set to be available at Burton Library.
In a scheme that aims to help people struggling financially, the products will be located in discreet collection boxes, with no questions asked.
Over the next year, the county council expects to distribute more than 3,000 sanitary products through participating libraries.
Donation bins are also in place for those who wish to support others in their community.
Hayley Coles, Staffordshire County Council's cabinet member for communities and culture, said: "Access to sanitary products is a basic necessity, not a luxury.
