BIDS INVITED TO IMPROVE THE AREAS HIGHLIGHTED IN AUDIT

- By JOSEPH RICHARDS

A NEW £300,000 Vitality Fund has been launched to bring targeted improvements across six key town and village centres in North West Leicestershire.

The six centres - Ashby de la Zouch, Castle Donington, Coalville, Ibstock, Kegworth and Measham - will receive up to £50,000 to help address local challenges and unlock opportunities.

They were chosen following independent Place Quality Audits and were praised for their strong community spirit, active local businesses, and potential for growth.

Funding will be targeted to areas identified in the audits, which were carried out by the Institute of Place Management.
