ALMOST 400 SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED ON ROOF TO BOOST CARBON NEUTRAL GOALS
WORK to install nearly 400 solar panels on the roof of Uttoxeter Leisure Centre has been completed.
The installation of the 393 panels was carried out thanks to a £339,525 grant from Sport England's Swimming Pool Support Fund.
It follows the successful installation of 600 solar panels at Meadowside Leisure Centre, in Burton, back in March.
East Staffordshire Borough Council worked closely with both principal contractors Leisure Energy and leisure centre operator Everyone Active.
