JOHN Eustace would love to add two to three players to his squad in the January transfer window but vowed Derby County would continue to build in the "right way".

The Rams head coach was speaking at a fans' forum on Thursday night when transfers predictably became part of the agenda.

Eustace was asked about his New Year shopping list, with the market set to open for business again on January 1.

Derby are expected to make alterations to the squad, with a central midfielder likely to be on the agenda.

But Eustace maintained that Derby's attempts to build the squad during his reign will be achieved in a sensible and sustainable fashion.
