CHARACTER IS PRAISED BY BOSS IN 'FABULOUS' GAME
 John Eustace
JOHN Eustace hailed Derby County's character after they came from behind to secure a point at home to Southampton.
The Rams had fallen behind early on when Adam Armstrong bundled his way through the defence to slot in the opener.
But Derby were level before halftime when Andi Weimann's cross was met by Patrick Agyemang, who headed in his first goal for the club.
Both sides created chances in a fabulous game, with both goalkeepers in inspired form, and head coach Eustace was happy with the way Derby responded to the early setback.
"I thought it was a great game of football between two good teams," he said.
"We're up against top-quality Championship players and Premier League players and we went toe to toe with them.
"I was really proud of the effort.
"Their goal was too easy and it was the same the other night, when we allowed the boy to bring the ball down.
