THE RSPCA Burton upon Trent & District Branch is hoping to find a forever home for two big dogs this ‘Adoptober’

- By JOSEPH RICHARDS

Crossbreed Bruno and Belgian Shepherd Ceaser are being cared for at the animal home in Stretton.

Five-year-old Bruno went into the care of the branch last October and was adopted for a few months, but is back “through no fault of his own” and since then has been overlooked time and time again.

Bruno would be best suited to an adult-only household with no cats.

Ceaser is an eight-year-old malinois who is also searching for a home this Adoptober - a campaign held every October where the RSPCA raises awareness of all the animals looking to find their people and place.

Georgia Coxon, from the Burton branch, said: “Bruno loves other dogs and would really benefit from a home with a social, confident dog, ideally a female.

“Bruno is confident, loyal, affectionate and very playful around people he's built a bond with.
