Boxing Day goal was worth wait for Jack!

JACK Armer admits his first goal for the Brewers was a 'long time coming'.

The marauding left-back scored the second in the 5-1 demolition of Northampton on Boxing Day to cap off a memorable moment for the player.

He said: "It's been a long time coming, to be fair!

"I've had plenty of chances over the past couple of weeks and probably should have had a few more, especially now I'm at wing back.

"But obviously 5-1, a win is a win, and it probably could have been more but it’s three points so happy days."

Reminiscing on the goal, he recalled: "We had a word in the meeting. That was one place we could have got in, over with the diagonal so he’s played the ball and I thought 'here’s my chance'.
