Bowyer salutes his players with pride!

The Brewers picked up a point from their clash at the Pirelli Stadium, with Albion dealing with further adversity to come away with a draw.

Already having a depleted squad, the Brewers lost Dylan Williams and George Evans to illness in the lead up to the game, leaving Albion a man light on the bench for the contest.

Bowyer handed 17-year-old Sulyman Krubally his first league start, while fellow youngster Zach Scutt was included on the bench for the first time in a League One fixture.

Reflecting on his side’s showing against the 12th-placed Chairboys, Bowyer told his club: “Unbelievable, the performance levels of the lads were incredible.

“We lost Dylan on Thursday through illness, we lost George Evans at half-past ten this morning through illness, so Suly only just found out that he was playing at half-past one.
