BURTON Albion boss Gary Bowyer says it's "no surprise" that today's opponents Wycombe Wanderers have seen an improvement in their fortunes since Michael Duff's appointment as head coach in September.
The Brewers host a Chairboys side at the Pirelli Stadium this afternoon that sit 13th in the League One table, on 24 points from 19 matches played.
Wycombe opted for a change in their dugout after picking up five points from their opening eight matches, with Duff having presided over five victories, four draws and two defeats since taking charge.
Previewing today's opponents, Bowyer said at his pre-match press conference: "[We're] coming up against another good team, financially well-banked, wonderful manager.
"I think it's no surprise the turnaround that they've had since Duffers has gone in there. In my own personal opinion, I think if Huddersfield had stayed with him last season, they'd have got in the playoffs, but that's not my decision, and as a result of that, Wycombe have benefited.
