IT'S advantage Twyford House in the race to be promoted from WEPL's Bristol & North Somerset division following a six-wicket away triumph over fellow high-flyers Bristol West Indian Phoenix.

- Steve HILL

The sides began the day locked together at the top on the same number of points. But Twyford are now one ahead of Brislington and 12 clear of BWIP with three more rounds of games to go.

Seamer Alex Wilson gave Twyford the perfect start, dismissing both openers en route to figures of 2-34 before James Pearson helped BWIP rally to total 207-8 after winning the toss.

Visiting skipper Parik Shetty gave Twyford's reply a turbocharged start with a quickfire 47 before experienced campaigner Mark Fowler followed up his spell of 2-36 from 10 overs with a patient 45.

Zora Singh then closed out the win with an unbeaten 53, quickly latching on to anything short or over pitched, to bank the points with almost seven overs to spare.
