LONDON City Lionesses striker Freya Godfrey has been called into the England squad for the forthcoming friendlies against China and Ghana.

The 20-year-old, who has scored two Women’s Super League goals this season, is the first player from the Hayes Lane club to be selected by the Lionesses.

Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton misses out with a hamstring injury, while Michelle Agyemang, Alex Greenwood and Leah Williamson are still sidelined.
